Hi everyone!

I will be starting a series of hair tutorials before I post up any complicated hairstyles, I thought I should share with you all how to do basic braids first. Today's braid is the fishtail braid!

Let's start!

1. Bringing your hair to one side and split it into 2 sections - left and right.

2. Starting from one section- left, use your fingers to separate a tiny portion (as little as possible) of hair on the outermost part of the section and cross it to the other side- right, as shown above.

3. Cross over to the right to combine with the right section.

4. From the right section, take a small portion on the outermost part and cross it over to combine with the left section.

5. Again, from the left section, repeat steps      2-4.

6. This might take awhile,just be patient!

7. Take an elastic to tie up once you reach the end of your braid.

8. You can pull & loosen the braids if it's too tight to create a messy & boho feel. 

The fishtail braid is not that hard to master once you're sure of the steps with a few practices!
