Vsalad Cafe// One City (Featuring KindMeal)

Still think that meat-free meals = boring rabbit food?
Well, think again.
Nowadays, there are plenty of meat-free diners in Klang Valley area that can trigger your tastebud even without the existence of meat.
I decided to check out Vsalad Café.
Some guys might think that meat-free meals are "meh".Thus, I asked RJ to tag along so we have opinions from both sides.
I ordered a Vsalad wrap set which comes with a juice and salad.

Vsalad wrap set- RM16.85

It was not heavy but it definitely fills you up.

The salad had a good crunch and all the ingredients used were fresh. Japanese sesame dressing was used and it blended well with the taste of the salad.

I really enjoyed my Kale Orange Juice. It didn't taste as green as it looked and was refreshing.

Both of us loved the Vsalad wrap as the whole combination worked perfectly together.
I like how they made the wrap with the lettuce being the shield for the tortilla to prevent the sauce from making the tortilla soggy.
RJ ordered a spinach pasta set which comes with a soup and juice.
Pasta Meal Set - RM18.97
The soup was debatable between me and RJ.

Me as a celery lover thought that it wasn't 'celery' enough but RJ who hates celery thought that it was a pretty good attempt. (At least he can swallow it without squinting his eyes.)
RJ thought that the pasta was good but lacked of flavour. I personally thought that the pasta need more herbs to level it up.
I do enjoyed the side dish. It was slices of tofu, eggs and grapes, top with red sauce. Sounds like a strange combination but it fused well.
Tropical Rainforest (kumquat and ginger) was soothing and served warm.
We also managed to try their snacks - Mushroom Veggies Balls.

Mushroom Veggie Balls- RM 8.37

The croquette like veggies balls were addictive. The texture and fragrant of the mushroom kept you wanting for more.
The mushroom burger was not what we expected as compared to the Mushroom Veggies Balls.
Mushroom Burger- RM 13.67

RJ thought the burger was too dry for his liking. It was sandwiched with mushroom patty, veggies and a slice of cheese.

I personally thought that the patty was too floury and it sticked to your teeth once you started munching. It didn't gave us a positive impact as the burger was still a little undercooked  at the center of the patty.
Overall, both us enjoyed dining at Vsalad  Cafe with the affordable pricing and a handful of varieties on the menu. All food prices stated in this post includes GST.
Do expect a little wait during lunch hour :)
Jiang, Jiang. What I saw in the shop.
