/atas/ (adj.)
Derived from the malay word meaning “upstairs”. In modern language transition, it carries the meaning of lavish, grand and high-end.

The kitchen was closed by the time we visited so we decided to have some light snacks from the display counter.

Walking back and forth at the display counter, I read through the description of each Mignon (mini cakes) and loved what was offered as each has its distinctive feature
Even better, all cakes and macaron were Italy-made by D&G Patisserie!
